MASTER PLAN
Beginning in 2005, the Historical Society crafted a vision of a transformed Pioneer Museum that will “share the cultural panorama of the Texas Hill Country through entertaining, interactive experiences that enlighten and inspire.”  An intense period of planning produced an exciting Master Plan that includes the restoration and reinterpretation of the historic structures, new construction, expansion of the Museum’s programs and services, and upgrading our operations to meet and exceed the expectations of 21st century visitors.  The historic Dambach-Besier House completes the successful First Phase of the Master Plan.
