Spring Break at the Museum -
                                                                                                                                       
 Saturday March 11 through Saturday March 18   (Closed  -Sunday, March 12)
​           Living History activities every day from 10am - 5pm on the Pioneer Museum grounds for school-age kids accompanied by an adult. Cost is $5 adults and $3 for kids in school. Preschoolers and babies -free.                  
Handworkers: spinners, quilters, doll-makers - Rope-making - Comanche descendant - Interpreter -     Storytellers and balladeers - Buffalo Soldiers - Chuck Wagon cookery - Native American Dancers -     Blacksmiths - Campfire cookery - Vaquero interpretation   
                 All activities will not be available each day.

Lenz  Fest - Our Spring Fundraiser

​Easter Egg Hunt - Free to Families with children 10 and under
Saturday, April 15th
​        A tradition for kids from toddlers to age 10. Bring your basket and find treat-filled eggs on the grounds. Separate hunting areas appropriate to age groups so all will have a great time. The Easter Bunny always makes this a stop on his tour to pose for photos.

The Texas Monthly Hill Country Show Home Tour   
Saturday/Sunday    May 13-14 and 20-21              
     Support the Museum and be the first to view a new model home at Boot Ranch in May.
Tickets: $25 each and limited to 200 per day. We receive ticket revenue from this wonderful home tour.  Click here for more information and to purchase tickets.

Farmers Market -Every Thursday in October 
     The local Farmers Market comes to our grounds every Thursday evening from 4:00-7:00 featuring local produce, restaurant and winery tastings, live music, and a place for the kids to run off some energy.   It's also Festival Season in Fredericksburg, so put us on your to-do list while you're here.

    The local Farmers Market is here Thursday evenings from 4:00-7:00 (ending on November 16).   Our grounds are beautiful in the fall so come spend some time with us.
